Malaysia Building Society Berhad ("MBSB") wishes to announce that the following four wholly-owned subsidiary companies, have commenced Members' Voluntary Winding-Up on 11 October 2010 pursuant to Section 254 (1) of the Companies Act, 1965:-
1) Longterm Pride Sdn Bhd (Company No.: 436796 - P) 2) Maxroute Sdn Bhd (Company No.: 528658 - W) 3) Supreme Design Sdn Bhd (Company No.:465628 - U) 4) MBSB Land Sdn Bhd (Company No.: 242595 - T)
Encik Ahmad Shahrul bin Hj Mohamed of Messrs. Khairuddin Hasyudeen & Razi , B-5-7, 5th Floor, Block B, Megan Avenue II, 12, Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, 50450 Kuala Lumpur has been appointed as Liquidator for the Members' Voluntary Winding-Up of the above mentioned four subsidiary companies.
The details of the four subsidiary companies are as follows:-
1) Longterm Pride Sdn Bhd was incorporated on 26 June 1997 and has an authorised share capital of RM100,000.00 comprising 100,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each of which 2 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each are issued and fully paid up. Longterm Pride Sdn Bhd has not commenced operations since the date of incorporation on 26 June 1997.
2) Maxroute Sdn Bhd was incorporated on 11 October 2000 and has an authorised share capital of RM100,000.00 comprising 100,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each of which 2 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each are issued and fully paid up. Maxroute Sdn Bhd has not commenced operations since the date of incorporation on 11 October 2000.
3) Supreme Design Sdn Bhd was incorporated on 14 July 1998 and has an authorised share capital of RM100,000.00 comprising 100,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each of which 2 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each are issued and fully paid up.The principal activity of Supreme Design Sdn Bhd is property development. The Company had ceased operations on 30 June 2001.
4) MBSB Land Sdn Bhd was incorporated on 18 June 1992 and has an authorised share capital of RM250,000.00 comprising 250,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each of which 2 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each are issued and fully paid up. MBSB Land Sdn Bhd has not commenced operations since the date of incorporation on 18 June 1992.
The Members' Voluntary Winding-Up of the above four subsidiaries is part of the Group's on-going rationalization plans to streamline its operations and to cut costs and expenses in maintaining dormant companies. The Members' Voluntary Winding-Up of the above four subsidiaries is not expected to have any material financial effect to the Group.
