Malaysia Building Society Berhad ("MBSB") wishes to announce that Prudent Legacy Sdn Bhd ("PLSB"), a subsidiary of MBSB Development Sdn Bhd which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of MBSB, had on 6 May 2021 been placed under Members’ Voluntary Winding-Up ("Winding-Up") in accordance with Section 439(1)(b) of the Companies Act, 2016.

Khoo Siew Kiat and Kevin Lee Tuck Yuen of Level 16, Menara LGB, 1 Jalan Wan Kadir, Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, 60000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan were appointed as the Liquidator of PLSB to act for the purpose of the Winding-Up.

PLSB was incorporated on 9 April 1996 in Malaysia as a property development company. PLSB currently is a dormant entity. 

The Winding-Up of PLSB does not have material effect on the earnings, gearing or net assets of MBSB for the financial year ending 31 December 2021.

None of the Directors or substantial shareholders of MBSB or persons connected to them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the Winding-Up.
