New Issue Of Securities (Chapter 6 Of Listing Requirements) : Other Issue Of Securities

(Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations and definitions used herein shall have the same meaning as those used in the announcement dated 10 June 2021 in relation to the DRP (“Announcement”))

Reference is made to the Announcement.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of MBSB, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad (“Maybank IB”) wishes to announce that Bursa Securities had, vide its letter dated 11 June 2021, approved the listing and quotation of up to 279,015,541 new ordinary shares in MBSB (“MBSB Shares”) to be issued pursuant to the DRP on the Main Market of Bursa Securities (“Listing Application”).

The approval of Bursa Securities for the Listing Application is subject to the following conditions:

(i) MBSB and Maybank IB must fully comply with the relevant provisions under the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities pertaining to the implementation of the DRP;

(ii) MBSB and Maybank IB to inform Bursa Securities upon the completion of the DRP;

(iii) MBSB to furnish Bursa Securities with a written confirmation of its compliance with the terms and conditions of Bursa Securities’ approval once the DRP is completed;

(iv) MBSB to furnish Bursa Securities with a certified true copy of the resolution passed by the shareholders at the forthcoming annual general meeting of MBSB for the final dividend of 2.0 sen per MBSB Share and proposed renewal of the DRP, prior to the listing and quotation of the new MBSB Shares; and

(v) payment of additional listing fee, if any, based on the final issue price together with a copy of the details of the computation of the amount of listing fees payable.
