We refer to our announcement made on 23 August 2012 in relation to the proposed disposal of property to WCT Hartanah Jaya Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 963911-K ) (“WCT” or the “Purchaser”), a wholly owned subsidiary of WCT Land Sdn Bhd (Company No. 324888-H) which is in turn a wholly owned subsidiary of WCT Berhad (Company No. 66538-K).
We wish to inform that there are amendments on items 7.2 and 7.3. The gain on disposal at MBSB Group level should be an approximate of RM55 million before estimated tax of 25%. The Accumulated Losses, Equity Attributable to Owners of the Company, Total Equity, NA Per Share, Gearing Ratio and Net Earnings Per Share are adjusted accordingly in the amended announcement to reflect the net tax position.
