Reference is made to the announcements dated 1 October 2015, 23 December 2015 and 18 January 2016 in relation to the Proposed Merger (“Announcements”).

Unless otherwise stated, defined terms in this announcement shall carry the same meanings as defined in the Announcements.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of MBSB, AmInvestment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that after a series of discussions and negotiations, MBSB, DRB-HICOM Berhad and Khazanah Nasional Berhad have not been able to reach an agreement on the terms and conditions of the Proposed Merger.  Accordingly, the parties have mutually agreed to end all discussions and not proceed with the Proposed Merger.
