Malaysia Building Society Berhad ("MBSB") wishes to announce that Home Approach Sdn Bhd (“HASB”) and Ganesha Sdn Bhd (“GSB”) (collectively referred to as "Companies"), which both are wholly-owned subsidiaries of MBSB, had each held their Extraordinary General Meeting today, at which it was resolved that the Companies be placed under members’ voluntary winding up. HASB and GSB had appointed  Khoo Siew Kiat and Abdul Malek bin Mohamed Said as Liquidators for the purpose of the members’ voluntary winding up.

The brief background information of HASB and GSB are as follows:-

The Companies have ceased the business operations and are currently dormant.

The voluntary winding-up of HASB and GSB does not have material effect on the earnings, gearing or net assets of MBSB for the financial year ending 31 December 2017.

None of the Directors or substantial shareholders of MBSB or persons connected to them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the voluntary winding-up.
