Following our announcement on the completion of the Share Purchase Agreement on the acquisition by Malaysia Building Society Berhad (“MBSB”) of 100% interest in the shares of Asian Finance Bank Berhad (“AFB”), the Board of Directors of MBSB wishes to announce that the following persons have been appointed as Directors of AFB:-

1. Tan Sri Abdul Halim Ali - Chairman / Non-Independent Non-Executive Director (“NINED”)
2. Encik Sazaliza Zainuddin - NINED
3. Encik Aw Hong Boo - Independent Non-Executive Director (“INED”)
4. Puan Lynette Yeow Su-Yin - INED
5. Dr Tunku Alina Binti Raja Muhd Alias- INED

Datuk Johar bin Che Mat and Datuk Azrulnizam bin Abdul Aziz, the existing directors, remain on the Board of AFB as INED of AFB.

The Board of Directors of MBSB wishes to announce that the President and Chief Executive Officer of MBSB, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zaini Othman is also appointed the Chief Executive Officer of AFB.
