Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) had vide its letter dated 16 April 2020 granted an extension of time until 30 June 2020 for listed issuers to issue quarterly report which is due by 31 May 2020 following the Movement Control Order (“MCO”) period from 18 March 2020 to 12 May 2020 and the Conditional Movement Control Order (“CMCO”) from 13 May 2020 to 9 June 2020 as announced by the Government to contain the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak in Malaysia.

The Board of Directors of  Malaysia Building Society Berhad has decided to utilize the extension period granted by Bursa Securities for issuance of the Interim Financial Stetements of the Group and of the Company for the First Quarter ended 31 March 2020 no later than 30 June 2020.
