Recommendation On First And Final Dividend To the Shareholders Of the Company For The Year Ended 31 December 2006

The Board of Directors of Malaysia Building Society Berhad ("the Company") is pleased to recommend a first and final dividend of 3% less 27% income tax amounting to approximately RM7.401 million for the financial year ended 31 December 2006, for the approval of the Company's shareholders at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting.

The entitlement and the payment dates in respect of this proposed dividend will be announced at a later date.
